I am interested in learning about the tachs man! That would be so sweet to have a factory diesel set up with a tach!

2 Ton Cab pictures

Ok the floor pans in the 2 ton trucks are DEFINETLY alot flatter then the regular 1/2 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. i would say that you would have to make some modifications to the mounts to use these on the smaller frames but not 100% sure on that. The good thing about these trucks are they typically only get used during the fall of the year before any snow flies so there is not any cancer from the salty roads. That alone might make it worth while to get 1 to try.
I took a few pictures with my phone but not sure how good they really are, I do NOT know how to post them other then clicking on them to view so if anyone else can do it please do.

Oh and on the Tachs, I only got to look at the kodiak, and the top kick which are both diesel trucks so I cant confirm what the tach is like in the gasser truck but the diesels are 4000 Rpm tachs with the little fuel gauge underneith them.
More pictures to come

 Not a problem. I'm sure HRPC will move them to a new thread. They kinda do make me wonder, though, how the NBS seats would fit in there especially with it appearing to be such a large cab....

well I cant get rid of any of them yet there still in service, well the 2 that i took pictures are anyhow, The C60 or 70 what ever it is is getting ready to get scrapped, Its got a 366 in it but still has factory tach dash, I may play around with the cab of that one though its in really good shape for a farm truck

Damn.

Should have said you can't do it, no way, no how, waste of time. Better off sending it to me and I'll just keep it mechanical. :rotflmao:

But no, i would do that to you, I'd definitely take it off your hands, but that would be wrong of me to mislead you like that.

It will take some fab work, but it is attainable...

And Mr. Hotrod needs to move these to the tach thread.
