Perfect. I was looking online and it looked like everyone was pulling their engine to change the gasket. It was slightly disheartening.

iirc, the 2wd trucks need to have the engine out because of the crossmember. The 4wd has enough clearance to do it in truck.

Nope, I put a new rear main seal and pan gasket on my C10 never moved the motor, pan clears the pickup no problem, that's with a small block though never tried it with a big block yet..

Forgot to mention, this was with a stock factory pan, don't know about aftermarket setups..
