Drip rail color

I’m going to paint the back of my drip rails , what color is it . Mine is rusted and I can’t tell . Also what kind of paint do you use . Thanks Seabee

If you're talking about the part of the flange that the bolts go through, all the ones I've seen have been black. As far as to what kind of paint, whatever you think will hold up best. Like you've seen, the paint the factory used on them wasn't the greatest.

That’s part I was talking about . I saw truck the other day that was painted silver. But I think black looks better . Thanks for your help .
