IF I had to guess, it appears to be the cable from the AC/Heat conroller that would go to your flapper door on the vent system for hot cold. To long to be thottle cable, and I think all Squares had Th350 detent cable to the carb, where some cars had it go thru the firewall to the accellerator pedal.

Cant see it all that well what about an aftermarket radio antenna or two-way radio. My truck has the antenna for a two-way in it like you find in corporate vehicles so they can talk to a base station.

Probably a better guess IMO. But, as asked, what's it connected to?

Looks like an extension for an antenna cable. Do you have a fender mount antenna on the D side? I had to run one in mine because the antenna cable was about 2' too short to make it to the radio. Pull it apart and see if it has an end like this. If so, it's antenna cable.

Could be the optic cable that connects to the back of your gauge panel that lights the ashtray

Naww, that wire/cable is much smaller in diameter.
