I went to a truck show over the weekend and talked to a c10 owner about a semi-local c10 club I was interested in (he had a sticker for the club on his truck). When I asked him how he liked them, he said he only has the sticker because he went to their latest social event, and added that they were mostly just interested in selling shirts/hats/stickers. They don't have any social pages or post any shows/meets on their website. So I decided to see if I could get something off the ground here in CT. If anyone is in the CT area, check out "C10 Club Connecticut" on facebook. I'll be throwing stickers at the c10 folks I come across at different shows/cruise ins, and when there is enough of a following we can host a c10 event.

Only c10? It's already a small market. I've been considering the sane in newyork but just leave it at square body and call it a day

Well since a lotta people use C10 and Square Body somewhat interchangeably....
I know the Illinois C10 club has the bigger trucks in it(from 618's dually).

I'm trying to get this thing off the ground so beggars can't be choosers lol. Ideally I was thinking any Chevy/GMC truck '87 (91) or earlier. While I'd call it a c10 club, its not like I wouldn't throw a sticker at a k10 or suburban. Just looking to connect some folks in the area with similar interests. A c10 club sounds more catchy than a chevy truck club to me, but I'm not in marketing so what do I know.

It's funny, there's not much as far as clubs go in the NE for some reason. I have a buddy that runs C/10 Club Maryland and he has to come south or go west to go to any shows.

Yea I’m not sure why. Maybe the trucks are too rusty up here? There’s usually a handful at any respectable car show though. It could just be the grumpy New England attitude preventing any socialization.
