Ah, I have been under the hood of a few 5.3 trucks.....That is not a 5.3 *******. That's an Olds engine.

IT'S AN 81 CHEVY SHORTBED 5.3 L V8 ENGINE OUT OF A 99 CHEVY TRUCK,SO I WAS TOLD FROM THE BUYER I GOT IT FROM 6 MONTHS AGO, I CONFIRMED AT MY MECHANIC SHOP WHEN I TOOK THE TRUCK TO HIM..

Yep. No doubt about it. It's a Chevroldslet, but it's not a Big Block either. Probably a 307. So he was told it was a 5.3 by the buyer, then CONFIRMED IT at his mechanics shop.

You're right. Now you know how tired I was that night. I just heard the call come in, Pontiac Transport and immediatly thought Dustbuster and then Retro. Far from the dustbuster. That is more of the Chevy Venture mini van than the Chevy Lumina Van. Sorry bout that.
