Sorry, kind of got off track on your original question. Not sure what you mean by sliders, but I made a reciever mount for my winch. No pics right now, but basically a chunk of 8" channel iron with a piece of 2" square tubung welded to it. Need to make some handles for it some day. Ran a length of welding cable from the battery to the back to hook it up. I plan to weld an old reciever to the tounge of my trailer so I can use it to load non running vehicles.

I think the trouble you'll have finding sliders to protect the rockers has to due with interference form the sidesaddle fuel tanks. There's no good place to attach them to once you get to that part of the frame, the tank blocks it. If, you were to switch to a blazer/burb tank in the rear, you would have an easier time mounting the sliders.

Are you looking for the bar/truss deals that keep from ripping the axles off?

Ok, got it. I like to keep my junk on the road these days and that seems to be a pretty effective way to avoid buggering the rockers. I guess I have nothing to offer at this point.

Back when I had my Jeep, I found that trees make excellent cutting brakes. Rocker protection is important.

Jeeps are easy, everybody and their brothers make body armor for them. Or make your own.

I ordered the tubes pre-bent, and did the final cutting for overhang and assembly myself.

One thing about Jeepers that’s kinda funny is, they brag how light their CJ is yet they hang 3-400 extra pounds on it. Lol I guess the slogan is correct. I won’t understand.... and I’m not gonna try either.

That's the funny thing about jeeps, everyone thinks they're lightweight because they're small. It just isn't the case. I'll bet by the time I had the armor on mine, and the swampers it was probably at or just over 4000lbs before I got in it. Nobody stops to consider that there wasn't very much plastic in the older ones, and most of the sheetmetal was all 16ga.
