My current odometer is stuck at 37829 and the 10ths just keep spinning and spinning. The mileage never changes

Hey Boltrunner,

I went to pull the speedo, and it is completely different than the one in my square. I don't know how Honkey Kong's 89 could be the same unless my truck had a different trim package. Sorry about that, I was hoping it would work for you.

Yeah, no needle on any of the gauges. I took the face off of it to see if the speedo was separate, but as far as I can tell, it's all one piece.

I may have one off of a 77 or 80 though, forgot about my plow that I am doing a body swap on.

Is there any reason why an auto cluster would not work in my stick? My odometer dosent work and i believe my fuel sender **** the bed so tracking my fuel kinda is a guess. Cut it close taking the kids to school the other day. Ran out right as i was passing the gas station. On the fuel sending unit issue, i know ive read that a bad ground will either cause it to read full or empty all the time but mine bounces around. Each time i start the truck it goes to a different level. Aside from a sending unit any other causes for this?

Back to the original question...

The auto cluster and manual trans cluster are interchangeable.

For manual trans we just put a piece of black tape on the clear panel at the bottom where the PRNDL indicator would go.

Yup pm me your address I m shipped today so it will have to wait till Friday if that’s ok and also I will send the clear part as it has the hole for the trip meter. Also does your cluster have a clock? The 89 has oil, tem and volts and a blank where the clock would be
