Mac, Snap On, Proto, KD, Balkamp, New Britan, Crafdtsman, IR, Victor, oh crap, and a bunch a others I`m not thinking of in the moment.
I have never had a problem with handing the Snap On man a ratchet, screw driver, socket, that was wore out or busted, and, He handing Me a new one or repairing the one I have,no mattrer how I come across getting it.
S.O.an once told Me it was up to the individual dealers how they, and, what they would warrantee.

Yup, the individual truck guys have the final say on whats warrantied my old snap op on guy was cool, he would warranty ANYTHING that was not electric. He even warrantied a hammer that was older than me. (handle snapped flush with the hammer head.)

Not if you buy quality. I've got a 3/8 Air Ratchet I bought in 87 or 88 off the Cornwell truck. I use it to disassemble auto transmissions. Granted it doesn't get as much as it used to, but it used about 6 months ago and works as good as day 1 still to this day. Couple drops of oil everytime I use it and good to go. That's an Ingersol Rand ratchet. Not sure about their quality these days though.
