87 Seat belt retractors

Howdy Folks,
Can anyone provide a clinic on retractors that don't retract?
I've cleaned and lubed but it still will not retract. I don't see any obvious missing or broken parts.

Your seat belts are 35+ years old,it's time to replace them,you count on them to save your life in a crash.

Excellent point and true.

I have seen talk here about replacing belts but not the retractor itself.
