Does anyone know if we can use the truck accessory drive in our trucks without changing anything? What is all involved with this swap??

There are volumes that could be written to answer your question. Short answer, yes, truck accy brackets work.
I use a 2010 Camaro waterpump and relocate the idler with a little kit from Dirty Dingo.
Engine mounting in a 4x4 is limited since relocating the transfer case is so tough. 2wd allow moving the engine forward to keep the low mounted A/C, which otherwise requires a high mount A/C bracket or relocating the right side engine stand.
The easiest fuel system is an 87+ tbi tank with a high pressure pump inside, about $300.
Radiator works fine. Exhaust is dependant on engine position. Hooker cast iron manifolds clear pretty much any situation.

Google. Read. Repeat.

Well I bought a LQ4 out of a 2000 Silverado 2500 yesterday for 130 bucks and I'm trying to figure out what I need to buy to put it into my 1974 Blazer.

Yeah need to go back and get the accessories when I get some more money. It's an iron headed LQ4 however later on down the road I can get some aluminum heads for it. Eventually my suburban will be getting a 6.0L as well.

Yeah I'm waiting on the new hooker ls swap kit stuff to come out for our trucks. I also need to collect some front end parts for the blazer. This is the body I finally got for it.

Yea it looks to like it needs to be replaced. Still it's a blazer and you could take the top off and ride :)

Well I'm thinking of Arrival Blue off of the 2003-2005 Silverado SS and who knows what else that color came on

I put an iron head 6.0 in mine. The iron heads are excellent. There is not a lot of flow increase to be had in any unported head. You only stand to increase compression ratio, with LS6 type castings (243 or 799), or reduce weight. Any other unported casting is a step back.

Message me on FB below and I'll be happy to help you with a shopping list.
