Should be a th350 stock, verify with a picture of a pan. To get linkage out of being a suspect, remove it on the trans side then securely jack up the rear of the truck. Start it up and have somebody in the cab ready to hit the brakes. Use the shifter paw on the side of the transmission to engage the first gear and see how it behaves. Make sure to hit the brakes or kill the engine before trying to put it back in park.Would be worthwhile to drop a pan and take a look inside(clutch material, burned fluid, metal/other material in the pan)
