    While working on my gauge cluster today, I dropped it. :whymewhyme: Broke a mounting tab off. I check LMC, and I see years 78-79 and 83-89 Am I just screwed on getting a new one, or will one of the other years work on my 81?

    How to remove the instrument cluster?

    I searched the whole internet high and low, so the problem must be me. I have taken out the dash pad and removed the screws on the cluster tabs around the edges of the cluster. The cluster moves, but I it seems there's more that must be taken off. It's not going to easily slide out as-is...

    Need help identifying this squeak. Maybe bearing, maybe speedo?

    I'm leaning towards speedo cable. I put the camera on all 4 corners and it's loudest over this wheel (driver rear), and second loudest over driver front. I can hear it well in the cab with the windows rolled up. Makes the sound in gear and out. With brakes and without. Skip to 1:50 or so...

    What is the trick to working on the driver gas tank?

    I replaced the fuel sender on the driver side gas tank. It was a giant pain in the ass to reconnect the 3 fuel lines when putting the tank back in. Turns out, I crimped one of those 3 lines in the rubber connector (from sender to hard gas line) now I have to take the tank back out to fix...
