    1973 Custom Deluxe Very Clean

Old 77 I would love to keep her but I don't have time to play with her or even drive her, either way though she is all fixed up, cleaned up, and I even went to DMV. The registration is current and in my name and the pink will come in 4-6 weeks. So two major problems wiped off the board.

    1973 Custom Deluxe Very Clean

89 sub I actually was thinking along the same lines so today I swung by the parts store and picked up a starter, flex plate, and a trans filter and gasket since I was going to have the trans out anyways. I got under there pretty damn confident it was the flex plate so pulled the drive line...

    1973 Custom Deluxe Very Clean

http://bakersfield.craigslist.org/cto/3105629284.html Check this thing out, breaks my heart to get rid of her but I don't have the time or the money to work on it anymore and she will far better serve someone else. Got a new company rig...

Cannot believe how sweet of a ride this thing is, has everything, power everything, back up cam and sensors, xm radio, on star, jake brake, remote start, the list goes on and on. I am in awe. Quite a step up from the 05 work truck 6.0 with 330k on it I had before. So much power blows my mind.

Did a Trans swap in my 82 GMC now have way to many RPMS

Definitely in 4 Low imo! I once swapped trannys and stuck the shifter on upside down so all the way back (normally 2 hi) was actually 4 lo. It was an auto and it would actually shifter so fast you couldn't even feel it thought the new trans was junk. Sounds like a similar story to mine!

Got a sweet deal on a Blazer and now I am torn...

All correct Mr. Clean should be very little associated fees, fees are on my red truck so was thinking of gutting my red truck for all parts for the blazer.

Got a sweet deal on a Blazer and now I am torn...

83 K5, 6.2 Diesel, 700R4(blown), NP 208, no axles, perfect body, nice paint, non opp'd, in guys name, free! Reason I am torn is if I get it that means all my stuff comes off my red chevy and goes on this blazer and I have worked a long time on that red truck, but this is a far more solid base...

    Crossover steering

Pretty much any square steering box will work even some of the 67-72 (all iirc actually) will work actually. Just make sure that your application matches for hose fitment, here are piloted with o-ring (better) 1980+ or compression 1979 back otherwise you will end up like me with a compression...

89S SCORES!!!! Used 5.7 TBI Install Thread

Yes they do need to be stretched but you can get them on without stretching...what we did when rebuilding my buddies TBI. Will be very dificult in the truck to do the way we did without cross threading a bolt/stud. Although I believe the stretching mechanism (never saw one cuz we figured it out)...

steering link for a 4in lift

Cracked a frame repair kit too. You are right that you can baby it and keep it from cracking but any off road use whatsoever they will crack eventually. I dont think I can crack it with the frame brace and repair kit. Along with crossover. But I will find out sooner or later.

steering link for a 4in lift

You can set up crossover for about 400 bucks you'll definitely want it down the road. Also from experience if your frame is not cracked plate and brace it now. ORD sells the brace kit and you can either get the plate kit off e bay or ORD sells it too. Even if you are only running 33s or 35s I...

    Got some new wheels...

HRPC I am using zep-alume which is aluma brite (muratic acid) its very painless to use as well just spray on wait 5 minutes and wipe off. Only problem is it will seriously corrode raw steel (IE Brake drums, rotors, calipers, etc...) so dont use it while on the vehicle. The other thing is if they...
