Hello I have a question about my newish 350 vortex engine. I have a brand new holly 750cfm carb, it seems to run amazing but I'm getting black soot on the garage floor on start up? Is it too rich? Anything helps. I posted a picture. It's equal on both sides.

Normal. Condensate being blown out the pipe. Means your exhaust is tight.
