Are those Bowtie wingnuts still available somewhere or did you already have it?
I think you can still get them from Summit.

Replaced the steering stabilizer and shocks. It had the quad shocks, but decided to just go with singles on the front. The old shocks and stabilizer were shot and it rides and handles so much better now.

Put new air filter on hooked up electric choke and checked headlights grounds. They were good.

Nice....spray for vacuum leaks while there? I was a stickler for checking for leaks anytime I was there when I was carb. Starter fluid is cheap.

Got the distributor i ordered today for my blazer.
Billet housing, red cap, 65k coil, a set of 9-10mm HP plug wires, a pig tail for power and tach signal, and extra boots and prongs to redo or shorten wires.

I asked cuz I was curious if it was Skip White.

[edit] you could get one for about $53 shipped about 5 yrs ago.....no longer though
I got a skip white on my 82 454. Works fine. I think I paid 55 bucks for it. Clear top.

Windshield wipers freaking out  I just put in a new windshield wiper motor this week. Now my wipers are trying to wipe BACKWARDS??? I tested the motor without the wipers on so didn’t notice this until now when it’s raining :banghead: Anyone had this happen and know what’s up?? One plug can be plugged in either way but I’ve tested and it doesn’t matter which way it’s connected plugged in :nutkick:

Any ideas???

pretty sure the linkage was 180 out with the motor shaft. pull the motor, put the wipers in the right position, and reinstall.
I’ll give it a whirl. Really hate redoing work and wish I would have noticed this issue when I was doing it the first time lol
