I said long tube simply because you're getting the most for your money in terms of exhaust flow. Mid length would be second, and shorties would be third. In my opinion.

Voted mid length because the offer more useable power in more useable places for a street rod.

I'm new here, and I didn't get a chance to vote. I went with the long tube headers. It doesn't matter if they scrape, because my exhaust is so loud, that you don't hear it.

Headman makes a header for squares and as long as the trucks not lowered they'll be all good.

I’d like to get that number if you could? You really seem to have a lot of knowledge about exhaust systems. What would you recommend for mufflers?

I voted long tube headers, because that is what I have. Long tube Hedman headers, with the ball and socket collector. Thanks for offering....

I can't help you out on the mufflers. You should talk to someone more knowledgeable about that. I can help you with the correct part number though. You are running a big block, right???

You know I am, amigo! I'm a card carrying member of RMHBB and Immediate Past President. I need something that isn't going to have warped flanges 10 minutes into my first drive too.
