Blue engine?

I want very badly to make a gray engine. However, every one i've touched gets painted black.

My 327 is US Navy engine grey. It’s what they used on pickup trucks and larger until early 60s. My 327 is oooollldddd!

they came in blue orange and black for the 73-87

Most of em have all turned black by now. I sure know my orange block was black with oil when she got pulled out!

I was quick to paint over the orange 010 block in the SS..ofc it's black. The C20s L98 is black. I'm really torn to leave the Blazer's 400 orange or to paint it what did he say? Navy gray? Okay...sounds cool. Battleship gray? I need pix of that 327 friend, let's have em!

The L98 in my 89 GTA was painted lime green by the previous owner. Fsmf.

The 383 block I am reassembling is purple. Fml.

I never thought of it like that but you’re absolutely correct! I wonder why that wasn’t one of our choices right from the beginning?
