Hello, I am new to the forum and I have some questions if anyone could lend their advice I would appreciate it.
I have a 76 Chevy 3/4 ton with an old block style 4" lift. The bushings are rotten and the shocks are old and it rides VERY rough and the steering is all over the place. The steering parts were all replaced and the tires are balanced.
I am hoping a new lift with the full leaf spring rear instead of blocks and new bushings and shocks will help the ride and steering. I was leaning toward a skyjacker 4 or 6 inch.
Does anyone have any input on those kits as far as how good they ride and if the 4 would ride better than the 6.
Skyjacker says they would ride the same but I thought it would make more sense that the 4 would ride better.
Also would it mess up my steering geometry or driveshaft geometry or anything to jump up to the 6.
Any advice would be helpful, Thanks.
