Groan all you want, Shaggy sent me the invite.

My project is a 1987 V10 RCLB. It's currently torn apart in my garage, waiting for me to get off my fat ass and resume reassembling it.

Plans are for a full restoration only limited by my budget.

The body is currently off the frame.

I've currently got a 350 to replace the stock 305 with, but, I am hoping to perform an LSX swap, hopefully a 6.0.

A 6" lift on 35's is high on the wish list. There's a brand new set of 15" Outlaw II's NIB waiting in the basement for installation.


I'm not the walking trivia monster when it comes to these trucks, but, I'll help out where ever I can.

Bare frame. Need to remove the rear springs, finish the rust conversion process, and have new bushing pushed into the springs.

wow nice work and nice shop, wished I had a place to do a frame off. I seen your truck on fsc I think I can't beleive it's a long bed alot of the pics it looks short. The stance is perfect. Love the fat tire look.

The last pic in my picture post is actually a truck that belongs to a guy on FSC named Vic_V8. I've been in love with it ever since I saw the first pic and it's very close to what I want mine to look like. He's running an 8" lift and 37's. I want to run a 6" and 35's.

I'm lucky enough to have two 2 car garages. One is attached to the house, where I keep my V8 S10 and my Nova. The second one is in my back yard. That's where the 87 sits in pieces.

That's cool, man. I did have a project thread on FSC, but, I got tired of butting heads with mods, especially "Toolman" and quit the site. I'll stop in once in a while to check out the sale threads, or when Adam made it to Jalopnik for his tattoo.

Thanks. My dad bought the truck new in 87/88. I started the tear down 4 months after he died in '07. I'm hoping to make one of the nicest Square Bodies I'll ever lay my eyes on.
