Had to go by myself a digital caliper and a multimeter finally.

Also need to get myself a new honer and would like to buy a HF shop press along with alot of other stuff. I have to get myself a honer to do cylinder for rebuilds, already got a new ring compressor and torque wrench never got to use either. The calipers I already put to good use but haven't tried the multimeter yet Got it to troubleshoot the wife's 01 monte carlo constantly having TPS and MAF codes after changing them once.

I need a press, dial indicator with mag base so I can do some rear end gear changes sometime in the near future, need to change the TA from 2.41' s or whatever to something mid 3's I'm thinking, and do dad's 84 c10 from 2.73's to 3.90' s he picked up years back and never swapped.

This more of a question on a tool I'm wanting. How many people use, or have used Clecos? I want to buy some I understand it makes life so much easier when doing body work. What size is best to start with? I'm thinking 3/16 or 1/8. I will have both one day, just not sure what size to start with. How many should I start with? 20-30 or more. I'm going to make some bridges, so I can butt weld two pieces together. Just needing some guidance.

Great question. I was wondering the same after seeing Big Fish use them on his aeroplane. No time for YouTube videos right this minute though....

Those are all 1/8” but it probably depends on what size holes you want to weld up.

I like the red handled pliers because they have a spring that opens them. The other ones are the most common type.

www.aircraft-tool.com has a sale going right now.

The flyer said February 6th is when it ends. The clamps the you install with the cleco pliers are handy to have too. They’re surprisingly strong.

Correction: February 5th is when the sale ends.

I'm going to wait on those. Summit has them for 3.55 each, and next time I go towards Dallas, I can pick them up at the new warehouse for free.
