Personally its up to you regarding the light, 6k is PURE WHITE, 8k is White with a little Blue, 10k bluish purpleish. 10k is not that price just looks nice, 6k is the brightest 8k is still almost as bright just has a little blue which is what I put in all my trucks and cars is 8k.

You need to get 4x6 Sealed H4 Housings I got mine from Euro Light I don't like the projector look or the rings.

Hope this helps a little bit.

K stands for kelvin:the temp of the color of the light

Personally I like 5k(pure white)

4300k(yellow)
5k(pure white)
6k(crystal white) has just a hint of blue
8k(diamond blue)

I would recommend anything higher then that

Just remember the higher the Kelvin the less light output your lights will have

I would go with hella e code or ultra vision for the housings

As for the for the kit I would go with thereteofitsource.com or kensun which you can get from amazon

I just picked up an 87 Sierra n the headlights are too dim
Probably from 87 so I'm quite interested in hid do you really
Have to change the whole clip or can you just but 4 lights n an hid kit
Or by changing the clip what all does that entail
