Will this intake work on a 85 with a 305 in it? I am finding conflicting info on the interwebs. I do believe that it is for non egr vehicles, if so is it common for people to remove the egr system from these engines? I know it is fine to do on other engine makes. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I can get a good deal on this intake if it will work out.

if it's for a small block and it's pre tbi intake and heads which started in 87, the heads have a different bolt angle in the middle, but as well as it's just stock carb intake and that says it's for up to 86 or even later, then it should be just fine.

removing the egr is common on everything, unless you have to pass inspection.
