turbo 350 to a 700r4. in a 1977 4wd

Hey I. Was wondering if I could put a 700r4 in place of my turbo 350 in my 1977 4wd truck any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Yes but you will need a matching transfer case and cross member, as well as a newer throttle cable bracket that has a spot for a TV cable too. And you need to ensure you have a carb that will accept the TV cable. Everything else should be a non issue except you probably will need to shorten your drive shaft

Oh which reminds me you may need a newer style front drive shaft depending on what you have already
