I have one NIB that I ordered that was about 4" too long. You are welcome to it since I will not be using it but not sure how it may or may not fit a 73. It is suppose to be for a 74 w/4 bbl carb. Also the end that slips into firewall was slightly too large. I have heard of a few mentioning aftermarket cables are longer than original.

I got it from LMC. Looked again and do not see 73 listed. You may be able to make it work, I'm not sure. I will send it to you for $0.00. I will not use it. Do not know what the blue piece is for. It slides on the cable housing.
