Ok i have a 82 c10 longbed im in the process of building a 383. As of righ tnow i got me a temporary motor for the 82 that im gonna put in with my turbo 350. The turbo 350 is a longtail. I got a guy wanting to trade a rebuilt 350 010 nickel block and a turbo 400 trans out of a 1 ton. The turbo 400 is a short shaft i know i will have to move my crossmember back a little and get a 400 yoke to puton my driveshaft. Now my question is do i have to get my driveshaft shortened or lengthened?
