I have a 1987 1500 with a 6 inch lift on 35's. My steering arm bolts sheered off into the spindle, tried heating them up and drilling them out but have made no forward progress. ive called around trying to find a whole new spindle assembly but i either cant find one or the one that they have wont work on the setup i have. Im not the most mechanically inclined person out there, i could definitely use a little help on what to do.

In the case of your 4x4, it's actually a steering knuckle. The spindle bolts to the knuckle, and supports the outer axle shaft.

Used knuckles are fairly easy to find. Can also buy new HD knuckles, although spendy for a pair of 'em.
