I need help with 85 k10 truck. Just bought it, but the speed guage doesn't work. There is a cable in the back that hooks up to it. Im not getting any voltage on the pink/black wire. Where should the power come from?

Disconnect on the transfer case and turn the cable while watching the spedo. Also can disconnect at the spedo and verify rotation

Found the problem at transfer case the cable is broken going into the drive gear. Going to change the cable, also would like to change the drive gear. I would like to find out what teeth count would be the correct one. Since it has a 3" lift and has a set of 33s.
