Well I've just about given up trying to find a solid shortbed fleetside for my truck. My old bed is repairable and fairly straight, but the front an rear cross-sills are GONE... Are there any companies you know of that sell them? I've looked but maybe not hard enough.

Also if you've fabbed up your own sills I'd be interested in seeing what you used.

I need one of those too for my Burb. I will like mostly have to fab something as I am not going to go all the way across, just where the body mounts are. :shitsweak:

I found some at brothers and classic parts but their running about $80 a pop. Not happening. I thought about bending up some flat steel, just wanted to see what other options I had...

Oh damn. Yah, check a local steel yard or fab it. I thought JCW had some universal body parts....if you got a paper JCW catalog look in there, I thought I saw a universal body parts box in the car section that had some things. If I remember when I get home I will look if it aint too past beer-thirty.... :roflbow:

raybuck had them tons cheaper, like $10 a piece or so.

for that sky high price of 80 I'd fab my own too.

of course my uncle has a metal break so that helps me alot.
