Ive got a 1984 Chevy would the rear bumper off a 1975 chevy work. I have a rare paintable one on mine right know with a chrome front and this ones chrome that im looking at

Yeah it will bolt right up, but if it's a different style, you need the brackets to go along with it.

Thanks !! they dont have the brackets just the "shell" thats a bummer but oh well.

Do we have pics your truck yet? 84 K30 6.2??? Curious if it's a CUCV? I wanna see pics???

If it's gotta CUCV bumper on it. I'd be leaving it if it were me. But that's just me.

Ahh, so you don't have a CUCV. Pronounced Coook V. Aka Steel Soldier. They are military trucks. Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle is what the CUCV stands for. Most are 84's but some did run into 85 and 86 year models before GM got the order completed. All were also 6.2 diesel with Th400 Auto transmissions. So when I see 84 K30 6.2, I usually assume it's a CUCV.

Ohhh yeah. a SRW CC at that I think I remember now when you got it and posted up, or that was when you joined here.
