My son's 69 C10 needs a new paint job because the clear coat is flaking off the 25 year old paint. He lives in the Clinton, NJ area (west/central part of the state) and is having a hard time finding a shop that is interested in doing it. Seems like the standard story is, "We might be able to get it in the shop in September or October, but we've been very busy, lost a good painter, blah, blah, blah.
Can anyone recommend a reliable shop in the area? The truck needs virtually no body work, except we would like to have the cab corners replaced. And we're not looking for show quality.
