I have a vintage Edelbrock Performer intake manifold that I plan to install on the 350 in my '78 C10. The manifold used a paper gasket in the days before o-ring sealed thermostat housings. So far all of the new housings that I have found use o-rings. Will these housings work with the older manifold?

Thanks
Jim

If the thermostat boss on the intake is the proper size and is perfectly flat it should work. Never messed with one before, I'm sure you can source a regular housing. Did you try summit?
