Need a Cherokee Steering Shaft for my 85 K20

Local yards all have stuff thats too new or its hit so hard its junk. Today went to JY - 11 Cherokees. 4 were in the year range (88-96). 3 were missing the shafts and 1 was hit so hard it was inaccessible.

Some of you fellas I know can bag a half dozen on a trip to your hunting grounds. If you want to unload one, I'd love to buy it.

I got one I doubt I'll ever use, but I gotta make sure I have a stock chevy shaft though. I wanted to do the mod on my k5, but plans have changed. I don't think it's gonna really matter what shaft I use on my k5.

Why is everyone switching to Cherokee shafts? Last 9ne I switched to joints I just grabbed the closest shaft with U joints, pretty sure it was a VW Rabbit , a little cutting a little welding and done.

They swap right in with very little fuss.
My 17 year old son watched a video and 30 minutes later we have one in our truck.
