I have a '74 K10 that came stock with a th350/np203 full time 4x4 setup. I recently swapped in an sm465/np208 part time setup and was wanting to put manual lock outs on the front axle. I have seen some places that since i have a full time axle i need a conversion kit to put lock outs on it. Has anybody done this before? What exactly do i need to do or will a certain set of lock outs bolt on?

Not 100% sure but I think you have to get a spindle nut conversion kit. Maybe have to get a new front hub assembly? but I don't think you'll have to. I would definitely check out warn, they have complete conversion kits or the parts you'll need and are a good brand for manual hubs

A manual lock out kit should bolt right in. I did it on my '78.

Pretty much the same thing. NP203 was a fulltime transfer case. You swapped to a part time.

Toss in a set of manual locking hubs and call it a day.
