Truck has a 2700 ETR stereo in it. Dash speakers are toast. Looking online I can’t find any 8 ohm replacements. Do I just get a pair of 4 ohm speakers and wire them in series? Can I do that? Is there another option? What are y’all using for dash speakers in the stock locations and with the stock stereo?

Look for home audio replacements in the size you need.

I used these, Kenwood KFC-835C because of price, brand, specs and their mounting depth didn’t interfere with my dash pad, but they are a 4ohm speaker but fit was spot-on. Compare their mounting depth to whatever 8 ohm 3.5” speaker you may find.
