I need a new grill for my 82 Chevy, but the reproduction grills do not have the bowtie on them. If I find a salvaged grill from other years (81, 83-85), will it be interchangeable or does it have to be an 82?

1981-82 are the same. They do differ somewhat from single headlights and dual headlights.

1981-82 were also the only years that had the parking lights in the bumper, 1983-88 had them under the headlight (single) or in the grille (dual).

I fabricated a bracket to hold mine into a reproduction. Only took a few minutes.
