If you’re talking about backlash,20$ from Harbor Freight will get you tools to measure properly. You need a dial indicator and magnetic base that holds it.

There is many videos on yt that shows you exactly how to do this.

You’ll need to google your specific axle spec on backlash.There is (2) different measurements.1-New gears,1-used gears.

It’s kinda tough for any here to say wether you have too much,unless it’s excessive.

Not sure if this helps,but a better question to ask is how do I measure,what do I need,or something along those lines….
