HELP need to know how to remove the outer bedside on my truck!

as it says i need to know how to remove my outer bedside quick! im getting a new one from a buddy down the street but have no idea how to remove the panel and ill probably have to get the bed side off of his myself, need to know quick please!

If you mean the whole bed side they bolt on. Theres a few between the cab and bed, a bunch in the wheel well, a few under/near the back, and you'll need a grinder to cut the spot weld near the back of the bed side, at the bottom of the rear post in the floor of the bed near the tailgate. It's dark out here or I would take a pic. I'll look around and see if i can find one.

alright so the bedside requires welding i cant do that so im either going to replace the whole bed or idk yet

You can just bolt the bedside back on but to remove it you will need to grind out a small tack weld in the area where the red circle is...

You'll want to have someone weld it eventually, it keeps the bedside from flopping around and keeps it lined up so the tailgate closes right.

i actually decided to just leave it since my truck is project:cheep wheeler im just going to beat the hell out of it anyway, maybe after i graduate and have the space ill do a full resto of another k10. hotrod if you could close or delete this that would be awesome.

oh i know how much they are lol i looked at lmc for one, i decided its not worth it, im gonna beat the **** out of it also this thing isnt really worth it the body will be rusted away before im 25. the cons of a 500 dollar truck that came from arizona haha
