I know it’s been covered a lot, I’m new to this forum and still figuring out the search options.
I have a 1986 k10 the PCB is new, have two new headlight switches and tried both. The taillights work, the blinkers in the dash, the high beam indicator, and 4wd indicator all work in the dash. The interior lights both work after adding a ground to the cigarette lighter.
When I roll the headlight switch to turn on the dash lights it pops the fuse. Also the heater control light and 4wd light on the floor don’t turn on. It all worked for about a week.
The wires going to the factory water temp and oil pressure are cut and capped with the metal piece removed as I have mechanical gauges. But looking at the diagram I didn’t think that was related to the dash light circuit
