Hello, swapped in a 8.1l/4l80e combo into my truck a few years ago and has been pretty much trouble free since. Was driving to town the other day and it felt like I turned the key off. Turns out it blew the fuse to the fuel pump relay and ECM. After a 2 mile walk and several more blown fuses I got it switched over to the other tank and drove home ok. Sending units are from a tbi truck as well as tanks. Fuel gauge goes full right when it blows. Any body had bad sending units cause blown fuses? Also the dash switch feels pretty warm.
