Factory Correct Gauge Colors?

Greatest thing I have found when the plastic covering is scratched and hard to see through is Mother's chrome polish and the Power Ball Mini. I did mine and I can see my gages a lot better and brighter now.

Does the cover stay clear, though? May need to clear coat and buff orange peel

Plastic polished quickly gets cloudy again, dont know what to tell you. ever see a headlight sanded and polished? takes a few weeks to a few months and the sun has it hazed over. Sorry that you still feel like being an immature brat about things, but this isnt an opinionated issue. The plastic WILL haze and be cloudy if you just polish it. If you even wax it that will work, too. Id imagine the wax would last longer on an interior plastic than an exterior.

For everyone else, I’d polish the dash lens out and leave it bare, no clear coat.

I would not clear coat it. I had polished the gage cover on my Toyota 4X4 and over the course of a year in the AZ sun and heat, it was as clear as the day I did it. We will see how long it lasts on Big Red.
