I am new to the forum but have lurked from time to time. Does anyone know of any mechanics/shops in Texas that does diesel conversion/swap work? I have an '84 K20 with a dogged-out 350 that needs replaced. A have an '84 K5 complete donor with a 6.2. I am thinking of swapping the 350 with the 6.2. Additionally, I have a 12 valve Cummins, engine only, that I would like to put into an '81 Chevy Crewcab Dually 4x4. These may sound like fairly easy jobs to most of you, but the more I read, the more daunting of a task this seems to become and is probably beyond my scope of mechanical abilities. Hence, the reason for asking for mechanic/shop references.
