I have an 81 k20 with a 4 speed. There is an intense rattling noise coming from the clutch peddle when there's no pressure on it. I've checked the bushings on the pivot at the top but all good there. the noise is coming from the clutch rod connection to the peddle. I removed it and saw that the plastic bushing was done, so i attempted to make out out of brass instead of trying to find one.
it was a tight fit and looked good. took it out for a drive and the rattle is still there. there's no play in that rod anymore so I'm going to continue searching for the issue tonight. Anyone have a similar problem? or a fix?
