Looking at ditching the Detroit steel del rays for a different setup . Had these for 4 years or so now and want a change , I have a set of 17 inch torque thrusts I was thinking about tossing on there ….. what does everyone think

Also open to other wheel options , wanting lighter and probably smaller than 20s. Definitely nothing bigger

The world has too many Torq Thrusts… seriously.
Delrays look sweet!
I love my wheels but I’ll trade you straight across for them Delrays!
I’ll even pay shipping!

Don’t get me wrong I like the delrays but it’s just time for something different . I also though about keeping the delrays but switching out the center caps to gmt400 caps if it looked different enough

I'm with @Grit dog, I despise torque thrusts cuz they're on everything and are everywhere. Look at the various US Mag offerings or Welds, there's alot of good styles there. Hell just browse the internet, lots and lots of options for these trucks that aren't so cookie cutter as TTs

Well I have decided I’m going to keep the wheels and paint them instead. Will make a fun diy project. Going to paint them black, maybe even a black metallic with base coat clear coat

I may keep them and do this
That’ll look sick! Or even a dark gray metallic.
Going forward it would be hard to justify the cost of Delrays with the couple mfgs now making aluminum rallys like that in big and little diameters. Less costly and lighter weight. Except to be fair you can get a more custom fit with the steelies since you can pick about any backspacing you want.
Those Detroits weigh as much as a sack of feed though!
