i have an 87 silverado with a/c. i removed the lower access panel and i see the metal blend door to the left and theres also a black plastic panel to the right. i see that the black panel is connected by a rod to the vacume operated door on the left. my issue is that the rod that runs thru the black panel moves when the vacume panel moves but the black panel doesnot move. it seems that it is stripped out. this causes the vacume door to get hung up sometimes. are these parts available?? perhaps someone has some spare parts available?? and is there anything i can do with this part without removing the whole heater box?? any help would be appreciated! thanks
