79 C35 454 rear main seal replacement

I searched on here and couldn't find what I was looking for. Does the motor have to be raised to change the oil pan gasket and 2 piece rear main on a 454 1979 C35? My truck is out on my property and I haven't been able to go look at it and I want to order the parts and be ready for what I have to do out there.

I did it last year on a small block 350. On a 4wd no you can do it all in the truck. On a small block and I would bet on a big block as well there is plenty of space to get the pan off and you can do the rear main seal as well.

C35=2WD???.......gonna have to lift it I think??
