I have just looked into the idea of updating the interior. The visors need to be replaced and the dash possibly. I also would like to get a headliner and gun rack for the back window that is not 600 dollars. Can anyone give me links or ideas for the interior so I can update the interior. (The dash shown has cracks and the roof has some rust spots but not anything too major.)

You can get a classic, two rifle rubber coated steel one on ebay or amazon, like less than $30.

I found a surplus CUCV set for cheap. Mounted the J arm to the dash and the rectangle butt-holder to the floor next to the transmission tunnel. An AR15 fits very nicely

Go on eBay and search for “E-Z mount gun rack”. You can find them NOS for around $20. Just remember that they made a different rack to work with sliding rear windows so check the packaging to make sure you’re getting the right one for your truck.

I remember seeing some shotguns and rifles stored on the headliner.
behind the seat is pretty great too, (I just like hiding things from thieves).

edit: and I spent my entire childhood riding with my dad with a camera, and in deer season with a rifle to pop a deer from the road side. (maybe a little trespassing)....in that case muzzle at my feet,...poking along the one lane roads at 15mph.

The old saddle blanket seat covers had a long gun pocket that ran the length of the front of the seat, right at the backside of your knees
