while replacing my wiper mechanism in the steering column this part fell out.. i assume it’s for the high beam. But i am wondering if i replace this small metal ‘spring’ correctly? Thankyou in advance! Greetings from The Netherlands! -C- Subb

Proper high beam switch mounting
Just put in a full carpet in my 74 c10 and wondering how the floor mounted highbeam switch it’s is supposed to be mounted, under the carpet or over the carpet. The utilitarian in me says the truck just had the switch mounted on top of the carpet with the two screws going down through it...
