1979 Dash Pad Replacement
Hello squarebody owners I’m in need of advice. My 79 Sierra caught fire at the body shop a while back and they seem to have no issues replacing everything except for the dashpad. I’ve been reading forums all day trying to find where I should go but everyone seems to have had nightmare... -

Dash pad
My ‘87 dash pad is in pretty good condition and doesn’t need any work yet and would like to keep it that way. I use it as a daily driver and don’t have a garage, so it sits in the sun regularly. Any advice on how to keep the dash from cracking / splitting from starting in Louisiana summers...
