    Loose cab mount

If it were me, I'd go at it with a regular 1/2" ratchet but only after I heated the bolt up and then I would tighten then loosen then tighten some more, work it back it forth until it comes completely out. Then run a wire brush over the threads and then wash it off with PB Blaster. Then spray...

    85 GMC k1500 flywheel cover

I have the same thing on my truck. The dust covers are different. I believe the 2 wheel drive 700's had a dust shield made of light steel with two bolts/ screws on each side holding it on whereas the 4 wheel 700 case has 3 bolts on each side holding the dust shield on and was constructed of...

    Busted Alternator Bolt

If the long bolt pictured is the one that sheared off, I'm thinking there's only a thread or two in the head. Shouldn't be too hard to back that broken piece out.

    wood dimentions

No, they just give it that dimension before planning after it being cut from the log. Same as a 2x4 actually being 1.5"x3.5".

Question about R4 "Pancake" AC compressors

The only thing I know about them is maybe a reverse rotation be cause of either being mounted on the opposite side of the engine or perhaps from the serpentine belt system.

    86 4.3 v6 2 barrel options/emissions delete

Depends, does your truck have a carb now? I would assume it does being an '86. But, it's most likely a 4 barrel so if you want to go to a 2 barrel you would have to change your intake to accommodate that.

    Cracked windshield

Whatever you do, don't go to Safelight. It took 2 different guys 4 windshields to finally get one right put in my truck. I would not have used them at all but it was an insurance job from a road overlay outfit that used too big of gravel on the road.

    Ring and pinion gear ratio

I have an 86 K10 with a 700R4 and 3.42 rear end with 29.5" tall tires. Coupled with a 305. It's a dog. struggles to get to 65 on a good day. Bucking the wind, forget about speed. Pulling hills sucks as well. So I would definitely stick with the 3.73.
